The second annual Gastronomica festival in Knysna will run from Saturday September 23 until Sunday October 1 and combine culinary theatre, education and art with entertainment, fashion and music.
Gastronomica, themed “From the Earth to the Plate”, will be a food lover’s paradise of 10-days crammed with hands-on workshops, demonstrations, competitions and discussions hosted by international and local chefs and targeted at the public and culinary professionals.
A highlight will be a three day Food with Integrity Market, held from Sunday 24 September till Tuesday 26 September which will showcase the best natural and organic foods grown and produced with care for a healthier and environmentally responsible lifestyle. Lunch can be enjoyed at the Market while listening to the sounds of music performed by talented local musicians.
