For the fourth year running, September is Gastronomica month in Knysna, where selected restaurants celebrate good, clean and fair food.  The focus is on organic products, sound principles of cooking, local produce and the absence of detrimental additives and colourants.
From 24 to 28 September, Knysna erupts into the Gastronomica festival where you can meet organic growers, established as well as young developing chefs and their suppliers.  Take part in the cooking process and experience Knysna's natural wine and slow food journey.
