What a fantastic day hosted by the organizers of this year's Gastronomica Festival. This year's event kicked off on Heritage Day and what a fabulous festival of food! It is certainly called to offer huge thanks and congratulations to all who participated. We were entertained with amazing fashions, cultural dancing and music as well as tasters of the demonstrations for the week's events ahead. And then of course there was a feast of culinary delights and compliments to be had throughout the day.
For those of you who weren't able to make it on Wednesday or whom have not yet managed to get stuck in to the activities on offer, there is still time. Gastronomica runs till Sunday and is most certainly well worth the visit.
